trs80: The TRS-80 Model III emulator for the Amiga.
This program is shareware. It is, however, fully functional (or at least as
functional as any version of this program available.) It supports up to four
disk drives (virtual disks that is) and works with all the TRS-80 software I've
tested on it.
If you enjoy using this program, I would appreciate $20 or so for all the work
that's gone into it. (Yes, I did write _all_ of it, including the z80
emulation.) Send to:
John Fehr
307 - 110 Adamar Rd.
Winnipeg, MB
R3T 3M3
If you have any questions, send them to efw492@freenet.mb.ca and I'll get back
to you if I have time. _PLEASE_ don't email me about getting the ROM, or
getting certain games.
Usage:
First, you need to either get the Model III ROM (how, I don't know... you might
be able to find someone with the PC model III emulator and get a copy from him
or something.) or you can use the method destribed in L2toM3.txt.
Once you have the rom (called TRS80ROM), simply type 'trs80' or 'trs80.orig' to
start the emulator. Another screen will pop up with the emulator paused. Just
click on the pause check box, and away you go. Read disks.txt if you'd like to
use disks.
The keyboard is the same as it was on the TRS80, except the <break> key is the
delete key on the amiga, and the <clear> key is the Help key on the amiga.
There are a couple of other changes, but everythings in the same place as it
was on the TRS80 so I won't bother listing them.
For those of you that are curious about the difference between trs80 and
trs80.orig, trs80 is the assembly version of the emulator, while trs80.orig
is just the C version.
